Introduction:How can we help others maintain a healthy diet? We all can eat healthier? We all can do more for ourselves to maintain a healthy life style. We will be writing a narrative text if you were to write to your friend who may need a positive influence in their life.
Tasks: After completing the activity for the short story the students will learn what we should do if we have a friend who may need a positive reinforcement.
Process:
1. You will first watch the video of ways to eat healthy and maintain a healthy diet.
2. You will begin by gathering the information of what makes up characteristics of a good friend.
3. Once you gathered up your information, you will develop strategies of how to communicate with your close friend, if your friend was making unhealthy choices.
4. You will begin pre-writing your story and begin the writing process: pre-write, drafting, revising, editing, publishing.
5. You will then gather your story and began transferring it into a digital story book with their own pictures and setting
